I'm extremely pissed off. I have managed to get my work published by Welsh Hockey (www.welsh-hockey.co.uk)
My university men's hockey team is in the process of maybe moving up to the BUSA Premiership, and Welsh Hockey wanted coverage of the match.
Their PR Manager asked if I would be happy to have my shots used by their Union, and I said I was more than happy as long as the work was appropriately credited.
Imagine my delight when I checked the website to find that not one, but two of my shots had been used.
And then imagine my disgust when I noticed that the shots were completely uncredited.
As a professional organisation, you would have thought they would know better. I am now in the process of deciding how to deal with this. Do I write them a letter requesting that they credit the photographs? Or, given they have used my images inappropriately, do I then go ahead and invoice them the cost of full rights use for those two particular images?
